This year's week of Grace Bible Day Camp was the most joyful of all. Joy is the attitude of any activity or fellowship where the freedom we know in Christ is preached.
From hallways to the kitchen, to classrooms and even bathrooms, children and staff were heard singing the good news of our Savior.
This joy was modeled in our adult and teen GBDC staff. Children quickly caught on to this spirited attitude in the helpers and you could see and hear the good spirit in each and every activity.
When this joy is seen by those who do not know Jesus, they realize that there is something missing in their lives. As a result, there are a number of children who expressed faith for the first time in the Lord Jesus as their Savior this week. Just when you would think the level of joy could not increase, it did when word spread of little souls that had found their freedom in Christ.
Thanks to all who played a joyful but sacrificial role in this week's outreach. You honored God! Prayer is the key to fruitful follow up. So join us in prayer as our GBDC folks begin a discipleship journey with these new souls in Christ.
