This year we have begun an exciting new curriculum for our Children's ministries. The Kids4Truth curriculum carries your child in Sunday School, Children's Worship, and Wednesday night clubs through 120 of the most important truths of Scripture in an understandable, useful and memorable way.
If 4-year-olds begin with the Kids 4 Truth curriculum, by the time that they graduate from the 6th grade, they will know with some measure of understanding 120 essential questions and answers of authentic Christian teachings, and will be able to provide supporting Bible verses.
No matter how old the children are when they begin involvement with Kids 4 Truth clubs, they will benefit from the doctrinal truths they gain and retain.
The primary goal of this program is to help boys and girls know, love, and worship God by grounding them in Christian truth. Kids 4 Truth clubs work to ensure that boys and girls of all ages will learn what Christians believe and why they believe it.
We believe that this simple and practical Bible teaching is an important part of rightly relating to our great Creator (see John 4:24 and 17:3)! What could be more helpful than having a closer relationship with the one true God of the Bible? We want boys and girls to know simple Bible doctrine and to love it!
During Sunday School one basic truth will be presented. The Children's Worship leaders and crew then use that truth as the starting point for the daily application of the Bible truth for the children.
During our Wednesday night club (held during the school year) the truth will be applied and fully explained. There will be a small fee for participation in Wednesday evenings since this is our school-year club. Clubbers have the opportunity to earn badges to place upon the sash. The sash and book are covered in the fee. At the end of each "half" of club our kids will be able to use the points they have earned by completing tasks for badges to buy items from the storejust in time for Christmas giving in the winter and Mother's Day and summer fun in the spring.
