Men's Ministry
2012 S.I.T.Grace Church of Mentor is committed according to our mission to reaching men's souls for Christ and equipping them for the ministry. We are presently experiencing in good American churches a large deficit of spiritually mature men. But at GCM, we are passionate about spiritually maturing men for ministry.
Churches like nations rise and fall on the shoulders of good or bad leadership. The pastors at GCM are called of God to be leaders of leaders. Leaders are to mentor other men who are prospective leaders. Spiritual leadership is not held to a title at GCM. All men are called to spiritually lead whether it is in their homes, places of work, or in the community.
GCM provides multiple venues where men can become all that God has intended them to be. Here at Grace you will find weekly personal, spiritual mentoring, group Bible Study sessions, monthly prayer breakfasts, an annual weekend retreat, weekend men's conferences, golf outings, and community outreach for Christ where men can be developed for ministry. Our school, Great Lakes Bible Institute, is a great tool of God for the spiritual development of men's hearts as well. At GLBI in depth, practical classes are taught that will prepare men's hearts for integrity in effective, local church ministry.
It is the heart of God to have men who love Christ so much that they become better laborers in the work force, better husbands, better fathers, better neighbors, and better servants unto Christ. At GCM, men will find plenty of opportunity to grow and do the will of God for their lives.
