Christmas at Grace

Every service this December celebrates Christ through the preaching of God's Word, joyful and vibrant singing, and genuine, loving fellowship. Save these dates for special opportunities to celebrate Christ's birth with the Grace Church family:

Special Services

Christmas Program: "Christmas Bells"

We are pleased to invite you to Grace Church of Mentor's annual Christmas program, featuring a Radio Play: “Christmas Bells” telling the story of the poet Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Please join us on Saturday, December 13 at 7 p.m. or Sunday, December 14 at 6 p.m. Childcare for infants through 5-year-olds will be provided for Sunday evening only. A cookie reception will follow each service.

Candlelight Service

This Grace Church family tradition will be held on Wednesday night, December 17, at 7 p.m. All groups from children to adults will meet in the auditorium for a special time of singing Christmas hymns and hearing a Christmas devotional. Childcare will be available for children age 5 and younger. We end the evening singing "Silent Night" by candlelight.

Christmas Carols & Worship

On Sunday, December 21, we will gather as a whole church to sing Christmas carols and enjoy a Christmas-themed devotional at 9 a.m. Childcare will only be available for infants through 5-year-olds, as we invite whole families to gather in the auditorium.

Prayer Meeting

We will not meet for prayer on Wednesday, December 24 or 31, so that families may enjoy Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve together.

Office Closings

The church office will be closed on Wednesday and Thursday, December 24-25, to allow staff to enjoy time with their families.

Offices will also be closed on Thursday, January 1. In case of an emergency, a pastor can be reached by calling the office (440-255-7045) and choosing extension #8.
