Building Strong Foundations for a Christ-Centered Marriage

Our First Five Years of Marriage Life Group is designed for couples navigating the early stages of marriage, typically within their first five years. We focus on building a strong foundation for a healthy and thriving marriage by exploring biblical principles, encouraging open communication, and fostering a supportive community of like-minded couples. Whether you're newly married or still figuring out how to grow together, this group offers biblical wisdom and principles of how to grow together in the Lord with others who are striving to do the same.

Bible Study

Our Sunday morning class provides space for couples to learn and discuss. We alternate between studying a book of the Bible or a Christian book that addresses early marriage to help you grow together in faith.

Christian Relationships

Build a network of support with other couples navigating early marriage. We offer fellowship opportunities and occasional childcare, fostering a community of encouragement and care.

Kevin and Sarah Sherman have been serving in Zambia since 2014. Kevin serves as a deacon at Faith Baptist Riverside, and both teach at Central Africa Baptist College. Kevin is also in the midst of a PhD program.

Puerto Rico

Melvin Purvis serves the Lord as Administrative Dean at Puerto Rico Baptist College in Bayamón, training young men for ministry. He was widowed in 2023 and recently recovered from a hip replacement surgery.
