Friday at Grace Bible Day Camp

It was our final day at the Wonder Junction, featuring our favorite Friday activities, the frozen t-shirt contest, dodgeball, and a slip 'n' slide! Our camp day went extra long because we just didn't want to say goodbye.

For our final animal pal and Bible lesson, the partners learned about Mission the Horse. Horses are so valuable in the West when they serve the person in charge – just like Christians are to serve Christ. The horse also taught us that when Jesus returns, He will come back on a white horse to judge and rule as King. We want to be on God's side on that day, because at Grace Bible Day Camp we know that "God Always Wins!"

Speaking of winning, the whole camp was in suspense all day to see which team would win the week’s competition. We were tallying points down to the last minute, and in our closing assembly, the winner was revealed – the Red Rock Railers!

Our memory verse was Matthew 6:10, "Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." Many campers also said a bonus verse, Psalm 113:3-4, "From the rising of the sun to its setting, the name of the Lord is to be praised! The Lord is high above all nations, and His glory above the heavens!"

Our campers loved singing the new songs and memory verses they learned for their parents at the closing assembly. Then everyone's families enjoyed the picnic and fellowship that followed. We sure had a Yee-Haw of a week! Thanks for joining us! We hope to see you all again next year!
