Monday at Grace Bible Day Camp

All aboard! Nearly 230 elementary campers are off on day 1 at the Wonder Junction, where we are marveling at Jesus and living for His glory. As we sang from Psalm 133:3, "From the rising of the sun to the going down of the same, the Lord's name is to be praised." Each day we are praising Jesus for who He is and what He's done. Today at High Point Bible Time, we learned that Jesus was born as a baby and He was fully God and fully man. We wondered at the miraculous birth!

As the campers arrived, they were divided into 2 teams –the Red Rock Railers and the Steel Blue Spikers. These teams will be battling it out all week to see who can earn the most points. We earn points for winning games, following our camp Do’s and Don’ts, and most of all, memorizing the daily Bible verses!

In our morning rotation, we played Gallopin' Gabe's Games, worked at Carpenter Joe's Crafts, and had some Sweet Sadie Snacks. After team time and lunch, we did a camp-wide scavenger hunt and finished the day with 30 minutes of choose-your-own activity time.

We're excited for day 2 tomorrow!
