Brandon Teske
Assistant Pastor • Children & Youth Oversight

I was blessed to grow up at Grace Church, in a Christian household with parents who were schoolteachers and a brother that I now work with. I was surrounded by the Word of God and church from the time I was born. I realized as a 5-year-old that people died and went to hell, and I did not want to be one of those people. I saw that my sin was sending me there and that through repentance and faith in Jesus, I could be forgiven and brought into His family forever. I am so thankful for my family, church family, and pastors that have helped me in my spiritual growth and assurance of salvation since then. The most formative years in my walk with God was being part of Youth Group with Pastor Steve and the youth leaders. They have a love for God and a joy in Jesus that made me want to follow Him all the more. As a third-generation Christian and a person saved at a young age, I especially want the youth and children of our church to know that Jesus is the only way to eternal life (John 14:6). He's also the way in this life because there is nothing good apart from Him, and in Him is the fullness of joy and pleasures forever (Psalm 16).
As a high schooler, Brandon began teaching Bible lessons and working with children at Grace Church alongside his parents and grandmother. He attended Lake Erie College and majored in Early Childhood Education and joined Grace as a member at that time. Following college, he taught first grade in a public school, began his Master of Divinity online, got more involved with children's ministry, and interned at Grace during his summers off. It was during this time that his burden to pastor only grew. He joined the Grace staff in 2023, was ordained in 2026, and will finish his MDiv from Bob Jones University in the summer of 2026.
During his last year of college, he spent a summer as a pastoral intern at a church in Nampa, Idaho. It was during that summer at Red Cliff Bible Camp that he met Katharina, and they were married in 2019. She grew up in the West, but her father's family just happens to be from Sandusky. She serves at Grace with Brandon in the youth and children's ministry. They have a daughter, Alexandra, and a son on the way.
